About Me: I am a successful business leader, social entrepreneur & trustee of multiple charities. I am an avid campaigner for people with learning differences such as dyslexia, which has led me to be nominated for a Pride of Britain award and have received recognition in person & in a speech by HRH The Prince of Wales. I now work as a freelance filmmaker, having studied Television Production at Bournemouth University, and has worked in media, including at the London Olympics in broadcasting services, as well as collaborating with the BBC and smaller production companies. I have worked at The Prince’s Trust in youth outreach and then Media Trust where I was responsible for strategy, content, marketing & delivering ‘The Vlogstar Challenge’. The Patchwork Foundation Master Class programme As a person interested in politics I wanted the chance to learn from senior politicians, policy makers and civil servants. Being apart of The Patchwork Foundation has allowed me to create solutions for some of the biggest challenges society faces today. The Patchwork Foundation’s unique Masterclass programme gives young leaders from under-represented, deprived and minority communities of all backgrounds the chance to engage dynamically with experts in the political field. The 10-month programme allowed me to have exclusive access to experts in intimate settings where I had the chance to learn, question and develop their knowledge and skills. Masterclass topics have included political campaigning, political negotiation, coalition building, international relations and policy amongst others.
